OVERVIEWThe first release from Champagne Armand de Brignac, the Brut Gold remains the most iconic cuvée in the range. Rich with the old-world tradition of champagne blending, it is a trio of vintages from some of the most lauded terroirs of the region, resulting in a cuvée expressing vibrant and fresh fruit character with a soft texture.
CELLARING POTENTIALElegant, complex and powerful now, however, collectors could age this in perfect cellaring conditions for an additional 20 years, to see the development of more toasty and honeyed flavors.
TASTING NOTELightly buttered, baked pastry notes are followed by aromas of pear, hazelnut and a hint of gingerbread. On the palate, flavors of guava, gooseberry, and peach are complemented by sweet spices and a fresh mineral finish.
FOOD PAIRINGBeautifully paired with carpaccio of shellfish or scallops, sashimi, grilled sea bass or a light cheese.
